Who ever doesnt leave 5 starts here is exspecting too much. The guy at front of house is welcoming informative and is very professional. The food is very nice and the ambiance is exactly what is needed for an evening of eating delicious food and chatting with those you love. The music, and this is very important, is exactly the right volume so even if you dont like the song you can tune out and if you do loud enough to listen. I love this place and cant wait to come back for seconds.
I have eaten at Kathton house several times and given good reviews. But it has recently changed hands and the food and service is definitely not to the same extremely high standard. We have gone three times and have been disappointed every time. So sadly this is one to cross off our list
Really lovely food and excellent service. The perfect place for a special Sunday lunch or evening meal. We have been several times and always had a great time.
Went here for my birthday meal with my boyfriend. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. They know the menu really well and Dylan chose the perfect wines to go with our meal. Food was really good! Puddings were so good we had to have 3!! Definitely will visit again. Thank you!
Simply beautiful! Truly a hidden gem. We went to Kathton House for a family birthday celebration and couldn't have found anywhere more lovely and special. The service, food, music and surroundings were spot on in every way. We can't wait to go back.
